How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your BS Films account at any time directly from the mobile app:
Open the BS Films App
Launch the BS Films app on your mobile device and ensure you're logged in.
Go to Profile / Settings
Tap on your profile icon or navigate to the Settings section of the app.
Scroll to Delete Account
Scroll down to the bottom of the Settings page where you'll find the "Delete Account" option.
Confirm Deletion
Tap "Delete Account" and confirm your choice. Your account will be deleted immediately and permanently.
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following information is permanently removed:
- Your email address
- Display name and profile avatar (if set)
- Device fingerprint and device information
- Viewing history, likes, and saved films
- All account preferences and settings
What We Keep (Anonymized)
To ensure fair compensation for filmmakers, we retain anonymized view statistics that are completely disconnected from your identity. This data cannot be traced back to you and is used solely for calculating filmmaker revenue distribution.
Important Information
- Immediate Effect: Account deletion takes effect immediately. You will be logged out and unable to access your account.
- Permanent Action: This action cannot be undone. Once deleted, you cannot recover your account, watch history, or preferences.
- Active Subscriptions: If you have an active subscription, remember to cancel it separately through your device's app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) to avoid future charges. Account deletion does not automatically cancel subscriptions.
- Downloaded Content: All downloaded films will become inaccessible immediately upon account deletion.
